Workplace Wellness

More and more companies in North Carolina are recognizing the importance of providing workplace wellness as a sound business strategy.  With health care costs rising at a record pace, employee health now impacts a company’s bottom line more than ever before.  Unhealthy employees not only utilize more health care dollars, but they are absent more often, injured more frequently, suffer more lost work days to recover from injuries or illnesses, and are generally less productive.

Studies have shown that for every dollar invested by employers in workplace wellness programs, there was an average savings of more than $3.00.  In business terms, that's a 3:1 return on investment.  Employers now realize that they can no longer afford NOT to invest in employee health.
